Thank you for visiting our website. We are delighted that you’re here! If you’ve never been to a UU Church before,
we’d like to take a moment to tell you about us.
- Come as You Are – There’s no dress code here, so be comfortable!
- UU churches are created, led, and managed by their membership (not the minister).
- We welcome ALL.
- Our American roots go back to John Adams, Louisa May Alcott, Ralph Waldo Emerson, and Henry David Thoreau. Our history can be traced to the First Council of Nicaea in 325 A.D.
- Our members hold a variety of beliefs including Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Judaism, Atheism, Agnosticism, Paganism, Humanism, and more.
- WUUC is a religious community that supports each person’s unique path to spiritual growth.
- We gather to celebrate life and to support each other with respect and compassion.
- We seek to serve the larger community and to work for a just and environmentally responsible society.
- We welcome all people — without regard to age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or physical ability — to join with us in our free and responsible search for truth and meaning.
Sunday Services are held at 11 a.m.
Sunday Services are led by UU Members, Guest Speakers, and our own Reverend Mitra Jafarzadeh. Topics reach beyond Religious
Texts to include a rich variety of life’s concerns, addressed with intelligence, inspiration, and wit. Linger for coffee and conversation,
then join the members and friends who gather for lunch at local restaurants (exact location is posted on the white board in the hallway).
Religious Education classes are held for children and adults.
